Telekamery 2019 for our productions

Two of our productions entered the prestigious ranks of Tele Tydzień magazine Telekamera Award winners. During the 2019 edition two of the coveted statuettes were awarded to the producers and makers of Lombard: życie pod zastaw (“Pawn shop”, TV PULS) and Ojciec Mateusz (“Father Matthew”, TVP 1).

In the Tele Tydzień magazine survey, which this year celebrated its 22nd edition, the readers chose Lombard: Życie pod zastaw as the winner of the docufiction series category (the show’s producers are TV Puls and Studio A, an ATM subsidiary).

For Ojciec Mateusz, on the other hand, it was already its third win. The show, produced since 2008 and aired by TVP 1, had previously won the 2011 Telekamera for best weekly show and the 2017 Telekamera for best series. Now, in 2019, the readers of Tele Tydzień once again recognised Ojciec Mateusz as the best series of the concluded season. The third statuette for the show means that next year it will be awarded a Golden Telekamera, Poland’s most prestigious TV award. It also means, however, that Ojciec Mateusz will no longer be eligible for future wins. “We got the awards and the recognition thanks to being a great team, which has now been working together for almost 12 years”, said Katarzyna Anczarska, the show’s producer, “Our production is credited for professionalism, excellent scheduling of work on set, good atmosphere and the passion with which the crew films every episode. All that translates into the show’s popularity and great ratings. We all hope we’ll keep creating more stories about Father Mathew for a long time.

We congratulate the show’s makers and thank all those who voted for our productions.
