The Polish Film Academy has announced nominations to its prestigious Eagle awards. The 19th academy awards gala will take place on March 20, 2017.

The 10th season of The Ranch, the series directed by Wojciech Adamczyk (Studio A), picked up a nomination for Best Drama Series. Other nominees in this category include The Artists, directed by Monika Strzępka, and Belfer, helmed by Łukasz Palkowski.

Nominations are decided by members of the Polish Film Academy, which has more than 600 voting members who are Polish filmmakers. This year, the Academy members chose its Best Series nominees from a list of 10 titles.

This success comes on the heels of Tele Tydzień’s Golden Telekamera for The Ranch in January earlier this year. Our congratulations to the creators and crew members!

The award ceremony, slated for March 20, will be broadcast on Canal+.
