The Mazovian Script Competition, called Script Wars, got underway on June 10. The competition is held by the Mazovian Institute of Culture, Mazovian Film Fund operator and Mazovia Warsaw Film Commission. Submissions are accepted from June 10 to July 9. ATM GRUPA is the event partner.
The Mazovian Institute of Culture, Mazovian Film Fund and Mazovia Warsaw Film Commission have launched a new initiative. Script Wars is a script competition for a full-length feature film set in Warsaw or Mazovia. The event is targeted at both professionals and newcomers. To be eligible for entry, scripts must be at development or pre-development stage. Submissions are accepted from June 10 and to July 9.
Entries that successfully pass the initial selection will be judged by a jury panel which will award three prizes:
The competition is held under the auspices of the Marshal of the Mazowieckie Voivodship. Event partners include the Polish Film Institute, ATM GRUPA and the Władysław Ślesicki Film Foundation. Script Wars is funded by the Local Government of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship, the Capital City of Warsaw and the Mazovian Institute of Culture.
