Description

The Sisters is Poland’s first TV series that offers a humorous take on the life of nuns. The show follows five women who constantly want to help others, which often lands them in trouble. The world of the sisters, which is full of ideals, is contrasted with the imperfect lives of other people. The story begins when the nuns leave their convent and move to a house which one of the sisters has received as a gift. The five nuns, Lucrezia, Prudence, Philipa, Clara, Maxima and Zenobia, differ in age, education and social background, but have one thing in common: faith in people. Each of them harbors a secret about how she found her calling and became a nun.
