Mikroprzygoda (Microadventure) is an offering for those who are fed up with the city, tired of the daily grind and have no time to take a holiday. The show proves that fascinating places and extreme adventures are just around the corner. You do not need a lot of money and a long holiday – a weekend is enough to take a break from the daily routine and go climbing, diving, exploring dungeons or quadding in the desert. If you feel you have got into a rut and your day is always too short, it’s time for Microadventure!

Participants are ordinary people, including an assistant to the executive board, a businessman and a hairdresser. They come from all walks of life but have one thing in common: they are busy, feeling tired and burned out. They need a change leaving behind the daily trials and tribulations. Under the guidance of expert hosts – the survival instructor Paweł Kilen and Monika Witkowska, a guide specialised in trips around Poland – they set out on a thrilling two-day expedition full of challenges and new discoveries.

Participants are in for adventures which, according to the creators of the show, will make them step out of their comfort zone, try something new, different, difficult, overcome their fears and weaknesses. They will shoot with a bow and arrow, ford a river, cross a rope bridge, put together boats, build rafts, dive and even go foraging for food. But the crucial thing is to convince participants and viewers alike that to have an adventure they don’t need to go on a far-off, long and expensive expedition. All you need to take a break from the city, people and worries is a weekend and inexpensive locations.

In each of the 10 episodes the crew visits a different region in Poland: from the Baltic Sea to the Pieniny Mountains. They show viewers the local highlights, culture, interesting people and the richness and beauty of the local nature. The crew will explore regions such as the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland, the Masuria Lake District, Lower Silesia, Kashubia, the Pieniny Mountains, the Bieszczady and Podlasie. Each episode is a new journey providing the pretext for showcasing Poland’s diverse tourist attractions.
