Drelich is a gripping contemporary thriller that keeps viewers on the edge of their seats from the very first to the very last minute. The title character, a Warsaw thief and burglar, must quickly uncover who is really pulling the strings in the dangerous game he’s been dragged into. His life—and the lives of his loved ones—depend on it. Our new production will premiere on TVP this fall!
About the series
Marek Drelich (Filip Pławiak) has mastered the art of living between two worlds. On one side, he is a charming, carefree, and funny forty-year-old. Despite being separated, he maintains a strong bond with his wife Iza (Marianna Zydek), who has been his support ever since he lost his father as a teenager. Together, they raise two children, and family remains his highest priority—he would do anything for those he loves.
On the other side, Drelich is a professional thief and burglar, treating crime like an ordinary job. While others head to the office, he plans heists. Punctual, meticulous, effective—the perfect worker, just in an unusual business. He can single-handedly rob an armored truck in broad daylight and vanish before anyone raises the alarm. His personal code is simple: loyalty, precision, and cold blood.
Everything changes when Gdańsk gangster Wójcik (Paweł Małaszyński) becomes convinced that Drelich is having an affair with his wife Milena (Marta Żmuda Trzebiatowska). The evidence seems undeniable, except for one thing—Marek has never even met her. Wójcik sends his men to Warsaw, including the ruthless Natan (Rafał Stachowiak). Soon, Drelich’s loved ones are in danger, and the situation escalates into a tense fight for their lives. Matters grow even more complicated when a contract is placed on Drelich’s head. The hitman is none other than Stryj (Olaf Lubaszenko)—the former mentor who once introduced Marek to the criminal underworld and who ultimately made him a lone wolf. Can Drelich protect his family from Wójcik’s vengeance? Can he reconcile with Stryj? Or is there someone else behind the entire scheme?
