It was an exceptionally successful beginning of June for First Love („Pierwsza miłość”)! All episodes broadcast in the last week (up to June 5, 2025) reached over 15% market share in the 16–49 demographic, with the average rating of the first four June episodes as high as 16.25%. This is one of the best results for the series in recent seasons!
First Love is one of the longest-running daily dramas on Polish television. The series premiered on Polsat in November 2004 and has been a constant presence in the homes of millions of viewers for over 20 years.
Over the past two decades, First Love has told thousands of stories and introduced hundreds of characters. The fates of Marysia, Artur, Emilka, Kinga, Bartek and many others have accompanied viewers for years, while the series continues to evolve—taking on current social and cultural issues, stirring emotions, and surprising with the freshness and creativity of its scripts.
“The secret of First Love lies in its people,” said Monika Galliot Salińska, executive producer at ATM Grupa, in an interview for polsat.pl marking the show’s 20th anniversary. “We genuinely care about this production, we want to nurture it. To keep it modern, to make sure it reflects what viewers want to see today. Because viewers change as well. Today, we can discuss certain topics more openly, as former taboos are no longer taboos. That’s why we strive to ensure the series keeps developing – because we simply love it.”
The June ratings clearly prove that First Love remains one of the strongest titles in Polsat’s lineup.
New episodes of First Love air Monday to Friday at 6:00 p.m. on Polsat. The last episode before the summer break will be broadcast on June 20.
