From October 25, the series Absolute Beginners, produced by ATM Grupa, is available on Netflix. It is an emotional story about growing up, searching for freedom, fulfilling dreams, but above all, about the choices that irreversibly separate teenage life from adulthood. Watch the trailer!

Absolute Beginners, a six-episode series by Kamila Tarabura and Nina Lewandowska, is another production of ATM Grupa for Netflix. This time it is not based on Harlan Coben’s novel, but on an original story.

About the series

Absolute Beginners is a bold story about the power of friendship, youthful loves, feelings, fascinations and erupting passions, as well as the desire for closeness and acceptance, felt equally by people of all ages. The youthful anxieties and dreams of the main characters are intertwined with the turbulent stories of parents who are trying to find passion and fulfillment.

Summertime, Polish seaside. Nineteen-year-old Lena and her best friend Niko share a passion for films; this summer, they will discover that they have more than just a hobby in common… They are at the seaside, where they are shooting a bold film about love to get into film school. Then, a stranger from a sports camp appears on the horizon – the free and rebellious Igor. The three of them will experience delight, desire and complete, unrestrained freedom. This will be the last such vacation.

Actors of the young generation make their debut in the main roles: Martyna Byczkowska (Skazana, The Woods), Bartłomiej Deklewa (Sexify 2, Bring Back Alice) and Jan Sałasiński (The Green Border).
